The Grace Notes are a select ensemble
of 7th & 8th graders.  They tied for 1st place in the small ensemble category of the ACSI Middle School Fine Arts
Festival on May 1, 2009 at the Hershey Evangelical Free Church.

Ten students competed in the annual  Geography Bowl, 2009/2010, sponsored by National Geographic magazine.  Ten finalists earned the right to compete in the school bowl by winning their respective grade level competitions.

Spelling Bee Champions 2009/2010
     
On Friday, March 5, the annual Spelling Bee concluded.  The bee began on February 19^th.  Noah Drobel successfully completed 14 rounds to win the 5^th & 6^th portion of the bee.  McKenzie Stine finished second and Josiah Reisinger finished third.
  

Samuel Hinthorn, 7^th grade, won the school bee by successfully spelling camouflage and satellite in the 18th round.  Mitchell Apgar, 7th, finished second, and Turner Blashford, 8th, finished third.
